This Workday simple integrations course focuses on mechanisms for
using custom reports results in integrations and loading data through generated
template models. The inbound integration systems are used to load bulk data
into the Workday tenant using generated spreadsheet models based on Public Web
Services (WWS) that are generated, and then populated in MS Excel. The course
also covers outbound integrations using RaaS as a source and touches briefly
upon using the Workday Web Services for EIB integrations.
Through a series of
presentation, demonstrations, and activities, you will learn how to build and
launch an integration that extracts data out of Workday and sends it to an the external system, learn about the different template models with the different
functional areas and how to generate, customize and populate those templates
for inbound transactions. You will also learn how to use a business process to
trigger an outbound integration and how custom XSLT is used to transform report
data. This class will stress the importance of business processes, Integration
IDs, and data structure when you are working with both inbound and outbound
data.
